Hawai’i Animal Kuleana Alliance is the premier disaster and emergency rescue organization of Hawaiʻi Island. Our origin as a grassroots group that evolved into a nonprofit has allowed us to experience and evaluate the needs of our community and island.

Our team consists of dedicated and compassionate individuals are committed to improving the lives of animals in need. We are passionate about what we do, and we strive to provide the highest level of service to animals and their people in their times of need.
Volunteer
Volunteers are the lifeblood of what we do HAKA. We need committed, caring volunteers every day to help with the tasks that help keep our nonprofit running. We also need volunteers who can help us in the field as we perform animal search and rescue services. And of course, we need fosters!
